The Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) communities are among the fastest growing communities across the nation. In fact, there are over 350,000 Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders across San Diego County alone. This is nearly 11% of the County population.

As more and more AAPIs register to vote and participate in our democratic process, it is incumbent on the Democratic Party to best reflect the values and priorities of this diverse community.

Within that context, the AAPI Democratic Club of San Diego strives to build a lasting relationship between the AAPI community and the Democratic Party by highlighting and connecting our shared values. Together, we work to elect Democratic candidates, cultivate leadership in the AAPI community, and advocate for issues pertinent to AAPI families.
